The sexy, stripped-down campaigns that Calvin Klein has become known for, always starring that season’s “it” boy in their signature briefs sans shirt, is a summer staple. But their most recent campaign, starring Alexander Skarsgard wearing selections from the brand’s Fall 2024 menswear collection, proves that it doesn’t need to be hot out to bare some skin.
Skarsgard, who hit the red carpet in London this week alongside Kate Winslet to promote his new movie “Lee,” lounges on a plush couch, leans on an oak wood wall and kicks his feet up on a desk throughout the series of new campaign images, shot by Mert Alas. Calvin Klein also shared behind-the-scenes images exclusively with Variety, shown below.

“It was wonderful to reunite with the Calvin Klein team for this campaign,” Skarsgard said in a statement. “There was such a great energy during this shoot, I’ve worked with Mert and his team a couple of times before and it’s always a blast. I loved the styling – it felt sophisticated and sleek, but still very relaxed and playful.”

The campaign also introduces for the first time the Calvin Klein Studio, which according to a statement, is “an elevated expression of the brand’s best essentials crafted with premium materials, strong
tailoring and fashion-forward silhouettes.”
In the campaign, Skarsgard styles the ’90s Straight jeans with two pieces from Calvin Klein Studio: the Long Sleeve Chunky Wool Sweater and the Classic Camel Shirt which updates a closet staple in a warm seasonal color.
The new campaign follows Jeremy Allen White’s buzzy campaign launched last week, featuring the “The Bear” actor lounging poolside in the brand’s signature briefs.
